The Catalogue contains 3.134 Albanian names and 530 Albanian surnames with their proper inscriptions in Albanian and in Serbian languages respectively, and in Cyrillic script. It was developed by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in partnership with the Government of Serbia Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa, the National Council of the Albanian National Minority and the OSCE Mission to Serbia. The Catalogue will aid administrative staff working in hospitals, maternity wards and birth registries, who are in direct contact with Albanian language native speakers, to accurately inscribe their personal names in both Albanian and Serbian languages, in official documents, thus contributing to a more effective application of the right to a personal name and its inscription in a minority language. This Handbook focuses on the importance of investigative phase of the criminal procedure, at the same time pointing out potential flows in legal framework related to investigation, specifically Article 133 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Namely, legislator focuses only on legal definition of the investigation, neglecting its criminalistics aspects. Primary purpose of this Handbook is to provide comprehensive guidance in the field of criminalistics, thus enabling public prosecutors to accomplish their primary task of detecting and prosecuting criminal offenders. This publication focuses on the principle of opportunity, and the challenges in its application, mainly related to the non-uniformity of practice of public prosecution offices in Serbia. The intention of the authors was to provide guidelines for the unified application of the principle, and to fulfil the main task of deferred prosecution- to achieve the purpose of the punishment without conducting criminal proceedings in cases when this is not necessary or expedient, taking into account public interest. The Guidelines for improving court practice in compensation proceedings for victims of serious crime in criminal proceedings

The Guidelines for improving court practice in compensation proceedings for victims of serious crime in criminal proceedings have been developed by the Supreme Court of Cassation Working Group, with support from the OSCE Mission to Serbia throught the project “Support for Victims and Witnesses of Crime in Serbia”, implemented by the OSCE Mission and financed by the European Union. The Guidelines point out to the competent authorities’ obligation to decide on compensation within criminal proceedings, they provide answers to questions relating to determining the damage, types of non-material damage, as well as determining the amount of monetary compensation, and they emphasize the importance of informing victims about their rights. The manual represents an auxiliary tool for teachers of Serbian as a non-mother tongue in the achievement of learning outcomes in the third cycle of education. It contains 320 recommended words and grammatical and semantic elements that students of secondary school need to acquire, in line with the learning outcomes and thematic units that are part of the new curriculum for Serbian as a non-mother tongue. The purpose of the manual is to enable smoother adoption of the most frequently used terminology in Serbian. The manual also includes five illustrations which will be of practical assistance to teachers in organising the Serbian language classes. This manual is not available in English language.
